Today we met an Canadian young girl. Her name is Katelyn Burgoyne and she is from Canada in PEI
(Prince Edward Island).

She came from Lamballe to introduce herself and presented a slide about her country.

In Canada, in winter, it can be very cold (-40 degrees) but in summer it can be 40 degrees.

She is 24 years old, and she has got one elder sister and one younger brother. Canada was born on PEI in 1867 in The Confederation House.

The most popular sport is hockey.

The most famous series in Canada is « Anne with an E », it was written there.

To leave the Island, you must cross the longest bridge.

It is 12kms long.

She has already seen the Northern Lights.

She often eats lobster at home and there always is maple syrup on the breakfast table.
